“We got married here on the 30th of October, 2022. Old Gore is just magic - right from the start, meeting Emily, Clayton, Abbie, Arabella, and team, it felt right as we were after something full of warmth/hygge vibes and all about the food! The team know what they are doing- organised, professional and we had Emily as our designated planner - she was born to do this! Constant communication and prompts, practical ideas and suggestions, it was a delight to have her on side. It made our planning very smooth and genuinely stress-free. The venue itself is beautiful on it's own in an understated way - we chose to add elements and pops of our colour theme on the dining tables & chairs, in the flower wheels in the main barn, and on the side tables around the venue (we had a kids station, a gifts table, chocolate table and sweet station later in the evening). And you don't want to miss your canapes or the drinks because if there is one thing they do well - it is food! The standouts were the karaage chicken starters and the steak alongsided the most amazing dauphinoise potatoes! We had so many compliments about the food and we couldn't have been happier - it really hit the spot for us both and reminded us why we chose OG in the first place! And they made homemade chai! Great team and venue, lots of accommodation options nearby and in Cirencester. We would recommend the OG if you are looking for a beautiful venue in the heart of the Cotswolds that is stress-free and all about good food and vibes!! These guys are worth it!”

We had the best ever time at Old Gore, the venue was stunning, food was incredible and the staff were amazing. Our guests are still raving about the pizza and bao buns.
The day ran smoothly, to which we owe a massive thanks to the team at Old Gore - we had a few time changes on the day and they worked around them with ease, offering any advice or help as we needed.
The venue layout is perfect, we always felt like we were with our guests no matter where we were. The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly helpful throughtout the day.
Two very special thanks to Arabella and Clayton, helpful from the first time we viewed the venue (in our hard hats and high vis whilst it was being built) right through to the glasses of fizz straight after the ceremony... and beyond!”

Everyone was so impressed by the venue and the food - so many people keep messaging us about the lamb! The way you guys have planned the food and menus was one of the main reasons we chose Old Gore and you’ve absolutely nailed it.
We’ve also had a lot of great comments about how on it the team were so thank you to everyone for being so great, and especially to Emily and Clayton for making the day so relaxed. Emily took the best Polaroid of the day and made everything so seamless (and snacks magically appear). All of our planning was fun and stress free too.
It’s been so exciting to see Old Gore come to life since our first viewing way back when it was a building site, and we’re genuinely upset we won’t get to experience it again! But we’re so excited for all the future couples who get to feel like we have, and we wish you all the luck for the future - not that you’ll need it.”
